If I'm not happy with my results. Can I get a refund?: We will try to locate the individual you are seeking. However, we are limited by the amount and accuracy of the information that you provide us. Moreover, we are accessing records controlled by third parties and reporting the results to you. Since it costs us money every time we perform a search, you are paying for our service not the results. We value your business and would like to ensure your satisfaction. If you feel that we have made an error that we can correct please contact our Customer Service Department at 614-322-9992. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri: 8am - 6pm. Please include your order number in your correspondence if possible.

How do I fix incorrect  information found in a report?: ACCUTELLUS is not a consumer reporting agency and provides records found in Government archives and other public & private data sources. We access records controlled by third parties and report the results to you. In the event errors are found in this data, we will work with you to correct them through the supplier. Please contact our Customer Service at 614-322-9992  for further assistance if you believe this may be the case. Documentation of the order along with evidence that the record is not accurate will be necessary. 

Driver & vehicle records: All driver & vehicle records request are subject to Federal, State & Local laws and the driver privacy protection act (DPPA). Click here for permissible DPPA uses. By inputting your response and proceeding with your search, you  certify that you are in, and assume full responsibility for, compliance with the DPPA and you agree to indemnify, defend and hold ACCUTELLUS harmless from any breach of the DPPA by you, your agents or contractors and any damages, fees and costs associated therewith. Information from this file may not be used to determine a customer's eligibility for credit, insurance or employment pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, (15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681).

Opt Out Policy: An individual may request opt-out if one of these conditions exists: You are a state, local or federal law enforcement officer or public official and your position exposes you to a threat of death or serious bodily harm; or you are a victim of identity theft; or you are at risk of physical harm; or upon evidence of a court order or expunged record.

Refunds: Members may request a refund of any unused balance in their account at anytime. Requests should be submitted in writing and allow for a minimum processing time of 10 business days. Any and all free credits applied to the account during membership will be deducted from the refund total, as such credits are not redeemable for cash.
